Environment & Sustainability Working Group (ESWG)

Debrief the COP28 results and its impacts in terms of philanthropic strategies

Arbeitskreise

We are thrilled to announce the first planned activities of our Environment & Sustainability Working Group (ESWG) in 2024.

Topic: Debrief the COP28 not-so-bad-not-so-great results and discuss what they could mean and imply in terms of philanthropic strategies on climate change for the coming years

We will hear back from Anabella Rosemberg who participated in the Dubai COP as Senior Advisor on Just Transition for Climate Action Network (CAN). And we will also welcome Indy Johar, Executive Director of Dark Matter Labs and a leading thinker in systems change and post-carbon society designs. Both will share their own critical analysis on the outcomes of COP28 and perspectives on the next steps – just thought-provoking enough to trigger your interest and kick off discussions among our foundations whether you are professionally engaged in the international climate agenda or not!

Please register online to our ESWG COP28 funders debrief webinar that will take place on the 23rd of January 2024 from 14:00 to 16:00. The link to the webinar will be provided at a later stage to registered people.
