Local events
The three working groups as well as individual foundations annually organize two to three theme-specific meetings to take place, each of which lasts approximately half a day.
Concrete promotional and supporting activities are presented and discussed at the local events that also serve to exchange experiences. In addition to SwissFoundations members, certain chosen guests invited by SwissFoundations members also personally attend these events.

Foundation Governance

At the end of October 2005, SwissFoundations published the first European Good Governance Code for grant-making institutions, thereby for the first time defining action-oriented basic rules for the good governance of classic foundation forms.
