In cooperation with the publishing company Helbing & Lichtenhahn, SwissFoundations first published its “Foundation Governance“ series in 2004. According to plans, an additional one to two new volumes on foundation-specific topics will be published every year.

"Swiss Foundation Code – Recommendations for the setting up and management of grant-making foundations"
Activity-oriented principles for fulfilling the requirements towards good governance in grant-making foundations are laid down for the first time. The 22 recommendations for modern management are intended for benefactors, foundation representatives, notaries, and attorneys.

Following the Code, an application manual on mainly strategy-oriented recommendations, as based on well-founded and easily comprehensible practical examples is expected to be published in autumn 2006.
